Advertiſement. Stolen out of the Incloſure of William Peaſe of Kanajohare on Mohock River in the County of Albany
on the Evening following the 27.th of Septr Laſt. a Redrone Mare. better than 14 hands high — cd both pace & Trot — had a
short Tail — four white feet — Branded [illegible][guess (maggiec): [illegible]D]. (being Durham[illegible] Brand in the Colony of Connecticut.) She was Somewhat Hipd
on the right Side which was but little to be Seen when she was fat — She was five years old — and was then in the service
of M.r Sam.l Johnſon, a Member of Yale College, and also a member of the School Indian Charity School under the Care
of the Subſcriber — who He was then imployed as a School Maſter among the Mohocks — It was Strongly Suſpected that
she was Stolen by a young man a Shoemaker who had Said he belonged to Penſilvann and on or near to Seſquahanna
River
, he was seen in Sd Paſtiure a little before y.e mare was miſsing and two or three Days after the both the man and Beaſt
according to the Diſcription paſsed [illegible][guess (maggiec): thro'] By [illegible][guess (maggiec): Sapus] Mountain. Whoever will secure sd mare — and deliver her into the care of
the Rivd John Brainerd of mount Hollis in new Jerſie, or convey her to me shall have six Dollars Reward and all neceſsary Charges
