I attempt to Write you a few Lines as Will as I can
according to the Short Time allowed me: when I come
[left]to Albany, I Saw not Revd mar.t and I know not What to Write;
from thince I Wente to Sir Welliam Johnſon
and I Saw not him (But His Son) Aug 13.th
I Sead unto Him What is become Rev.d Smiteh.
for He Was Sent to Preach to Mohoaks; and He
Sead Smiteh Was hear Two or three Days: and
He is gone home a bout three Weeks a goe
becauſe We hear Enemies is coming: but their was
nothing in it. Forall our Mohoaks are Pice
with us yet; and hear I meet mr Gunn He come
from Onohoguagee; He Sead their is no denger
among the Indians at Onohoguagee or Janingo
Indians, for thy are all good friends and
and I believe the Providence of God will open
the Door. that I my Preach the Gospel
to theſe Indians; but I have Short time
to write; but I am Well through the Bleſsing
of God; And I hope you are the Same
