Dear Mr Stefansson,
I have just returned
to the office else I would have written
you sooner I thank you very very
much for your book "The Friendly Arctic"
which is very kind and thoughtful
of you. Also I am very grateful to you
for the ten shares in the company.
In taking on the work of looking after
the Stef. Co I was not looking for a
renumeratuon of any kind as it gives
me pleasure in being able to do this
for you.
With regard to funds for the
Company I would like very much if you
could send some money in order for
me to send to Nome to cover the
seamstress [Ec.] It is cheaper sending
this money by letter than by telegraph.
Now is the time to do this as I believe
August or Sept. will be the last sailing
to Nome.
Yours faithfully

John Anderson
