At New York, June 12--22.
Dear Taylor:
It is my wish that the present subscribed
capital of this Company standing at 144 shares be now
increased by 120 shares to represent payment for ser-vices already rendered the Company. These shares to
be allotted as follows:-
| V Stefansson............... | 60 shares |
| A.J.Taylor................. | 45 shares |
| J.A. Anderson............... | 10 shares |
| R.Brown.................... | 5 shares |
I leave to you and Mr Anderson the selec-tion of the best method to be used in arranging this.
I also wish,so soon as a lease to Wrangel
Island is assured, that you will endeavour to secure from $
$10,000 to $15,000 addittional working capital for the
Company, and I am agreeable that the Company pay a
commission of 10% for securing such capital together
with any legitimate expenses incurred in this work.
It is understood
you will at all times guarantee that the voting [: couthall] of the company shall rest in me.
