My dear Stefansson,
I think you have accomplished a great deal
in getting word so directly to Lloyd George, and I
hope that the rumour in yesterday's paper that Lloyd
George was going to be prevented from attending the
Conference by complications in Ireland will prove un
founded. I shall be most interested to hear a full
er account of the result of Mr. Dilnot's interview
with the Premier, but I am quite sure it will have
prepared the way for you if the Premier attends the
Conference in November.

I think the "Silver Wave" transaction has
been pretty well cleared up now by the various com
munications we have received, and the only matter
that we need some little light on is in expenditures
that were made on the "Orion", but no doubt Mr.
Lindeberg’s letter in reply to ours of recent date
will clear this up as well.
