P e r s o n a l.
Dear Mr. Stefansson,-
I telegraphed to you this evening
as follows: "Introduction mailed in special delivery letter to reach you Saturday."
I had to deal with the subject
rather hurriedly at the last moment and I am
afraid that the introduction is not quite what I
would have wished. However, you will remember
that I had to undertake it in the midst of other
arduous duties which it was impossible to put
aside. The galleys which have reached me run
from 1 to 177, but evidently they are incomplete.
I have hurriedly gone over all that has been sent.
With kindest remembrances and best
wishes, believe me,
Faithfully yours,
^
