Stefansson Exploration
September 19th, 1921.
Dear Taylor:
I regret to read in the papers the last
two days intimations that Lloyd George is not coming to
America at all. Apparently there will be no one in the
crowd who are coming over here to whom I could talk
about our plans and purposes. The only name that looks
at all promising is that of the First Lord of the Admir
alty. I shall find out what sort of a fellow he is and
if he looks good to me may present the case to him.
