Stef. Arctic Ex
August 27th, 1921.
Dear Mr. Anderson:
Thank you for your letter of August 13th and the
suggestions. It was certainly an oversight that I did not
pass all the money through the office of the company in
Vancouver. It was mostly my customary informality; also there
would have been exchange for transferring the money back and
forth.
I have already telegraphed Mr. Taylor asking for a
statement of the affairs of the company at present. What I am
not clear about is whether Maurer gave you the thousand dollars
which he was putting into the company. However, I shall have
your telegraphic reply long before you receive this letter.
Mr. John Anderson,
Stefansson Arctic Exploration &
Development Company,

Vancouver, B. C.
