V. Stefansson, Esq., Ellison-White Sevens Chatauqua Circuit, Pendleton, ORE.
Dear Stefansson,
I have just received your wire of the 8th asking that Crawford meet you at Pendleton on the afternoon of July 11th. I have arranged that this be done and have cautioned him as you suggest, and I feel that the young man is discreet.
If for any reason you should decide that you do not wish to go on with the employment contract which was prepared, copy of which was mailed to you yesterday, there is nothing at present binding on the Company inasmuch as the contract has not been executed. I told Crawford of course that it would be completed this coming Monday upon Mr. Anderson's return. I shall do nothing further in the matter, however, until receiving confirmation from you.
Yours sincerely, AJ Taylor
