Dear Maurer:
I am anxious to see you if it is convenient with regard to certain events on Wrangel Island. I am just finishing the account of the expedition, which will be printed some time during the winter.
I am writing to the two addresses I know. Please let me know immediately where you are and also whether it would be possible for you to take a week off to come to see in
New York if I find it einconvenient, to meet you where you are.
