Mr. V. Stefansson,
New York, N. Y.
Dear Sir:
Your communication under date September 27th is just at hand
and the contents very carefully and interestedly noted.
I have read with a great deal of interest your copy of a
letter you have sent to Ellison & White and I assure you I
appreciate you are taking in me to the fullest extent.
You have advised that you will, perhaps, be in Portland on
November 18th. I shall, by all manner of means see you at
that time. I will drive down to Portland, together with my
parents, and my brother, and we shall be glad to bring you
home with us for a visit, if you will come.
I appreciate the suggestion that you make with regard to the
tour with moving pictures, and I assure that if the proposition
comes to me in a favorable manner I shall be glad to accept it,
and I assure you of my appreciation.
I shall hope to have an opportunity to discuss everything from
soup to nuts with you on the occasion of your visit to Portland.
Yours very respectfully,
E. Lorne Knight
