My dear Mr. Noice,
Yours of May 15 Came this morning. I am worried at learning that my letter of Jan. 26 never reached you. I am enclosing a copy of it which my husband has made from my original draft. I wish you would make an effort to trace it: I do not like the thought of it falling into strange hands.
I have just mailed to you (1) the copies of letters etc. you left with me and (2) photostats of all the original documents. Tomorrow I shall send you, by registered mail, all the original documents that I did not place in the archives in Ottawa for safe-keeping (see copy of my letter of Jan. 26). While in Ottawa I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr. and Mrs. R. M. Andersons.

Will you please sign this copy of your letter to Brewer and mail it to Mrs. Anderson to place in the archives? I shall be away before you could get it back to me.
Please note especially what I said in my letter of Jan. 26 about not giving the photostats to the Amer. Geol. Society, or to anyone friendly to the enemy, until they are published, either in a book written by you or in an historical article by some one.
Is that statement enclosed regarding the expenditure of the money contributed by the English people correct? If so, would you certify it, and send it on to Mrs. Anderson?
Glad you had such a pleasant trip. It would do you no end of good. Address us until August 1st-c/o Bank of Nova Scotia, 108 Old Broad St., London E. C. England. We suspect to visit Venice, Italy Etc. as well as British Isles. In haste H. Crawford
