at my house Last thursday, and Desired me to purchase 2000 weight of
Cheese at 4pence per pound for your use I immediately went to the
widow Days and to Deacon Jon Days I Could not purchase of the widow
under 4pence— per pound I Could purchase of theDeacon for 4pence he having
but about 600 weight and not having orders to give more than 4
Did not purchase any - Sir, with Regard to a Negro man
Iam Redy to thinkI Could purchase one a very firm Rugged
fellow he will be 21 years old next march his master has been offered
Seventy pounds for him about 12 months ago his master tells me
he is pretty Good with an ax how sithe and sickleI believe I can have him
at or near that price the Negro has wanted a master that is all the faltfault I
Know of he was born and Brought up by me he is owned by Esquire Lords
Son - I Recommended him to Mr. Bingham as a man that was
handy to mend a Cart or plow which Recommend on Enquiry was Wrong
Except that and I Believe if you had him he will answer the Recommend
