Thomas DeVine who is in Jail at Keen for a
Debt which he owes to you, has Sent to me desiring I [illegible: would]
Set him at Liberty.
These are therefore to inform you on what Conditions
I well do it provided his Debt be not more than Seven
pounds lawful money, which I am informed is the Sum
total of it. Viz. I well be obliged to pay the money in
June next or Sooner if I can collect it of my Credits
and he well give me a good Indenture of his whole and
faithful Service 'til the first Day of November next
and also that his Father in Law Mr. Joseph Keyes
well be Surety for his Coming to me as Speedily as maybe
with his Indenture.
If these Conditions Shall be complyed with I pray
you to See that the Indenture be well drawn and Executed
and you may assure yourself that I am with much
Respect
