My Dear Child.
Yours and the rest by Governor is this minute come
to hand — My Head and Heart and Hands were So full when Messengers
Hide and Perry went away last monday that I never thought
of one of you 'til they were gone— I rejoice to hear
of your welfare— It may be you will See me at N.H.
before vacancy— I have thoughts of Sending Ian Ralphs
with Honorable Huntington, and Frisbie and Some others into the Wild—
derness as Soon as the Season shall favour it— likely
Sometime in may— I haven't Time to write Frisbie of it
you will inform him— I have very good of the
state of Mr. Shirtland's Church and Congregation— [blotted out: exp]
Reverend J. Johnson returned last week— I expect Mr.
Shirtland in June— Mather is gone home I fear in a
consumption. I fear his Race is nigh run—
Sweet peace, Love, unity etc. reign among my peoples
I haven't preached for three Sabaths. My people have invited Mr
Judson to Supply my pulpit for 3 Sabbath longer—
We all give Love to you— The Lord bless you, and all
my dear pupils at College. give my Love to them all
I design to Send Horses for you all Seasonably for the
vacancy— can't you ride my mare which Nando
keeps? or has he Sold her? if you can I wish you would
let me know of it— I write in utmost haste
