of Hebron in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut
for the Consideration of fifty pounds Sterling money
of Great Britain Received to my full Satisfaction of
the Reverend Eleazar Wheelock DD. of Lebanon in the County
of Windham and Colony afore said, Do Sell Convey, Confirm
and Deliver unto him the said Wheelock his Heirs and
Assigns, one certain Negro woman named Dinah aged
about twenty years to have and to hold said Negro
woman, as a servant for Life, Witness my Hand and Seal
this 30th of January AD 1769 signed sealed and Delivered

Silas Dewey
named in the above written Bill, shall Die or prove
Lame or useless, Do promise to pay to the Reverend Eleazar
Wheelock above named the above said sum of fifty
pounds Sterling, when and soon as said negro woman
Shall become useless as above said with the Lawful
Interest. ⁓ Witness my Hand
