Know all Men by these presents that I Nathaniel
Cushman of Lebanon in the County of Windam
and Colony of Connecticut etc. for and in Consideration
of two Hundred and forty five pounds well and truly paid to me
the Receipt were of I acknowledge and myself therewith satisfied
have Sold and do hereby Convey to Eleazar Wheelock of
of the Town aforesaid his heirs etc. a Certain Negro man servant
Named Fortune aged twenty two or three years, to serve him
and his Heirs During his Life
 as Wittness my hand ⁓
