i take this opportunity to Enform you that Mr. Bigham was at my houſe Laſt thurſday, & Deſired me to purches 2000 wait of Cheeſe at 4 pr pound for your uſe i amediately went to ye widow Days & to Deacon Jon Days i Culd not purches of ye widow under 4d— 12 pr pound i Culd purches of ye Deacon for 4d he having but about 600 wait & not haveing orders to give more than 4 Did not purches any - Sr, with Regard to a Negro man i am Redy to think i Culd purches one a very firm Rug"ed fellow he will be 21 years old next march his master hath ben offered Seventy pounds for him about 12 months ago his master tells me he is prety Good with an ax how sithe & sickle i believe i can have him at or near that price ye Negro has wanted a master that is all ye falt i Know of he ^was^ born & Brought up by me he is owned by Eſqr Lords Son - i Recommended him to mr. bingham as a man that was handy to mend a Cart or plow wich Recommend on Enquiery was Rong Except that = & i Believe if you had him he will enſure ye Recommend i gave
