are all hoping our Negro girl is undr poor
Circumſtances I am afraid She won’t Live Long ye means uſd Don’t seem at preſent
as tho they wod Effect a Cure (I Deſr to Submitt to ye
Determinations of heaven Concerning her-) I dont know when I shall Come for Betty we are not yet Got into our houſe nor shall we very
Speedily — I am afraid She is almoſt out of Patience — I shod be Glad if She were at home — if I cod tell how to Get her here — I am very sorry to
hear of ye unhappy Difficulty there is in yr town but I believe God does Governs ye world and yt and his
council not withstanding all ye Devices of mans health
