About DEBII
DEBII is an image collection tool providing for public access to digital collections. DEBII is assembled from a number of open source tools and technologies.
DEBII provides the following features to users:
- Zoomable high resolution page images
- Keyword searching with optional faceted searching
- Downloadable Images
These features are provided through XSLT, XQuery and Javascript scripts and is built on these open source technologies:
- Datatables UI for browsing and searching
- eXist native XML database
- Bootstrap
- IIPImage Server
- ImageMagick image transformation library
- OpenSeadragon image viewer
- Saxon XSL transformation engine
DEBII is part of the Dartmouth Digital Library Program.
