Alexander Chamberlain, letter, to Eleazar Wheelock, 1767 October 19

Author Chamberlain, Alexander[pers0115.ocp]

19 October 1767[1767-10-19]

Call Number767569

[note (type: abstract): Chamberlain copies an excerpt from a London paper about a local appearance by, and the successful fundraising activities of, Whitaker and Occom.][note (type: handwriting): Formal hand is highly stylized, which somewhat mitigates legibility.][note (type: paper): Single small sheet is in good-to-fair condition, with light-to-moderate creasing, staining and wear. A tear at the bottom of the sheet results in a slight loss of text.][note (type: ink): Dark-brown ink is visible through opposite sides of the paper.]
