were altogether Heathens, and I was Educated by them in the[above] irir
[Heatheniſh | heathenish]Heatheniſhheathenish Notions, [tho' | though]tho'though there was a Sermon [Preach'd | preached]Preach'dpreached to
our Mohegan Tribe[org0063.ocp] [Some times | sometimes]Some timessometimes, but our Indians regarded not
the [Chriſtian | Christian]ChriſtianChristian Religion, they [woud | would]woudwould [perſiſt | persist]perſiſtpersist in their [Heatheniſh | heathenish]Heatheniſhheathenish
ways, and my Parents in [perticular | particular]perticularparticular were very Strong in
the [Cuſtoms | customs]Cuſtomscustoms of their [fore Fathers | forefathers]fore Fathersforefathers, and they had a wandering

great trouble of Mind for Some Time, I thought the Religion
which I heard at this Time was a new thing among man=

a Hope, and as I begant to think about Religion So I
