General note

Andover, a town in central NE Connecticut, was not incorporated until 1848. In 1747, parishioners in various Ecclesiastical societies in neighboring colonial towns of Coventry, Lebanon, and Hebron successfully petitioned for the creation of the Andover Ecclesiastical Society.
