May it please your honour. we would Inform you, that we have Been to the Honorable commissioners in Boston; (who appears to us, to Be very Honourable Gentlemen) and Have obtained a free School, or at Least, Some assistance. we take you to Be a Good friend to us. we are informed by Brother Tobias Shattock, that you manifested a freedom to help us. we humbly pray, that you would Remember Our tribe in your petition. we have Been conversant with Mr. Occom, and he Give us Encouragement, that he would speak a word, to you in our favour; and likewise to the commissioners. moreover we desire you to Remember our Tribe, with a few Lines, to Sir William. if you can give us further Light in Any of our affairs, or See any thing that will Be Beneficial; that I can do, I Should be glad, if you would Send me a Letter. I have Been very industrious: In trying to unite the Indians, and have in a good Degree, obtained my Desire, blessed Be god for it. I purposed in my mind, to have gone to Sir William my Self. But my business is So, that I cannot. we have appointed, Thomas Coyhez to go, and if he can do you any Service, By carrying Letters, to Sir William we have ordered him to do it. - - - - - - - - —
