Rev. and Honoured Sir.
I am very glad of embracing every opportunity of Writing to you, and conversing with you, though in a silent Language.— But I had much rather converse with you Face to Face.  Dear Sir you can't imagine how much I want to see you, and your Family. Though I expect to come and visit you next Fall, if I have my Life and Health spared.— I am very hearty at present, through divine goodness, except of having little Cold. I like College as well as ever, only I think it is too much confinement: because I want to travel somewhere or other and get acquainted with Mankind. For I don't see, as I am likely ever to learn anything else, but the Languages and Sciences  Sir I must conclude with the desire of giving my Duty to Madam Wheelock and kind Love to your  Children, and the same to the rest of your Family.  And accept the same from
