Since God has spear'd my Life till now I have willingly
except'd of your kind offer and priviledge in your school
Since I have experienced so much of your kindneſs toward
me as well as to my Nation I am Thoroughly Convinced of
your great Friendship and kindneſs toward them and
that you would Contribute all in your Power if they cou'd
be made Happy thereby and more especially to make them
Heirs of everlasting savation I have been greatly Concern'd
for the state of my Nation both for their spiritual and temboral
Interest and so Continue which has Cauſed me to Labour under
many Sorrows the Narragansett Tribe whereunto I belong
are under many Difficult Circumſtances which is a great
hurt to their Religion I am fully persweaded that our —
miniſter and a Number of his People wou'd willingly Change
their Countray for another where they Cou'd enjoy their
Religion there are many who Condemn our miniſters
Religion and call it delusion but I would to God that we were
all deluded by the same spirit as to thier Moveing to some
New Settlement I woud not leed them Into any thing without
their Conſideration your kindneſs In writing to the
Blank page.
Governor of new Hampshire on our behalf has been exceeding
great which I shall readyly acquain[illegible][guess: q]t our Tribe of the
Trouble and exspence I have been to the Doctr and his Family
has been much and their kindneſs so Great that I can not
exspreſs my Thankfulneſs and wou'd willingly reward them
for their Trouble if it were now in my Power notwithſtanding
I have an undoupt'd Confidence of their reward in the
World to Come
