As I Stand in Connection to you, So I find it my Duty to make my
Faults known to you,— I have been shamefully, over taken with Strong Drink, by which I have greatly wounded the Cauſe of
gGod, and [illegible]blemiſhed the Pure Religion of Jeſus
Chriſt and illegibleblackened my own Character, and function
^brought a reproach on the miniſtry^, and
[illegible]hurt my own Soul:— For which, as in the
Sight of
gGod, I ^am^ ashamed, I am Sorry, and Sincerely, Repent
— And I humbly Beg your forgiveneſs—and Prey
