Since Time after I wrote to you, was at Dr Wheelock's, and
found myſelf under a miſtake, for he told me, he had
not receiv'd any Letter from our Honrable Truſtees
Since we got home from England, and finding, he had
Some Letters from England Concerning Dr Whitaker's
Conduct whereby he gave a Diſpleaſure to our moſt
worthy Truſtees and others — and told me also, he had
excluded him from Truſt here — I thought it my
Duty, to relate the whole matter to him, and he was
much astoniſhed with it — and he Deſired to know my
opinion of the Honorable Truſtees, and I freely told him
I look'd 'em as the moſt worthy, Honeſt, and faithful men
Diſintruſted in their Truſt — I believe there is no danger
of allienating his mind from the Honorable Truſtees
The good old gentleman is moſt wore out, yet he is
ſteady as the Sun he keeps on in good work — his Confi
dence is in god Still — there is good Niws in the
wildnerneſs among the onoydas, many are hopefully
Turned from Darkneſs to [illegible]vital godlineſs —
