our Frinend and Brother
M.r Occum is now at my Houſe, and came here
with a View to proceed on his Way to the
Preſbyteries Comitee apponted to diſmiſs and
recommend Him;— but I am fully perſuaded
(for some Reaſons) that he had beſt proceed
no farther at preſent.— Indeed I take the Liberty
to think that it will not be beſt for Him to have
a Diſmiſsion at all. If He should, or should only
have a Recomendation, by all means I should
think this beſt done, at our stated Seſsion, the
laſt Wedneſday in Oct.r.—
I have a thouſand Things I want to converſe
with You upon, and long for a Perſonal
Interview; but the Lord only know when this
will be, or whether ever. — the Lord is yet
with us here, and things are comfortable. —
