Dear [S.r | Sir]S.rSir

writes me thus "As to [ ye | the] yethe american Collection It seems
as if you would (if [call'd | called]call'dcalled thereto) make a Notable Beggar
but considering [ye | the]yethe great [expence | expense]expenceexpense that has lay upon us
about [ye | the]yethe [meetg | meeting]meetgmeeting House [& | and]&and a debt remaining of near 30 [above] ££

seem very forward to encourage it — I [beleive | believe]beleivebelieve at least it

I saw [Mr | Mr.]MrMr. Parry[pers0405.ocp] last Saturday who highl[gap: tear][guess (h-dawnd): y]y approved

he recommended them to act in Concert with a
Society who had for some time back set on foot a
scheme for propagating [ye | the]yethe Gospel abroad and desired
them after they had spoke with [ye | the]yethe Managers of that
society to come to him again but having not
seen them afterwards it [lookt | looked]looktlooked like a party affair
as this [Gent.n | gentleman]Gent.ngentleman was a Presbyte[gap: tear][guess (h-dawnd): r]rian [&c | etc.]&cetc.: — Now
