Honored Doctor,
I take this opportunity to write
a few lines unto you, and thereby to inform you of my dis
contentment, I want to go Home if I can obtain thy approbation
I have no ease of Mind, I am daily thinking that I do not
care how soon I go out of the world. prepared, or not, and it
seems as if I did not Care how bad I be, if it would but make
my Time shorter, My mind is full of such bad thoughts, so that
I cant relate all my bad thoughts, and when my thoughts are off this
my Mind is Home continually laying out work for me to Do
sometimes Clearing, and sometimes Blacksmithing and so on
But I believe I should soon be tired of Home and Yet my
Mind is all the while Cleaving to go home, and sometimes it excite a
motion in my Breast to go without letting the Doctor know
of my Intentions, when I am alone I am almost crazy
I will catch my hair and pull and Cry, for to go Home,
Mr. Anderson is left off working for Mr. Huntington
so that I shant be able to go through my Trade etc.

Blank page.
And there is one thing more I would be glad to inform
the Doctor but I am afraid or at least I am bashful
therefore I must let it be. but hoping the Doctor will
give me Leave to go home I subscribe myself
