from SamsonOccom an Indian Minister, setting forth his
great poverty and distress by reason thereof; Attending
one from you, wherein you recommend the said Indian
to the Charitably disposed. We now send you the enclosed
Eight pounds lawful Money, with a view to relieve the
distress of the said Indian Minister, and desire you
would apply it accordingly. We apprehend you will be
relieved (with respect to what you are in arrears for the
Education of Indian Children) in some more public way
or we should have had your relief as much in view
as that of the said Indian Minister
We conclude with wishing you the Divine
presence, in your public ministry, and private instructions
and asking your Prayers for our little private Society, that
we may all know Jesus Christ, and be built up in him
in the behalf and at the desire of the Society.
