Boſton, much worried & fatigued, in conſequence of wch our two
miſſ.rs Set out on yr long tour yeſterday wth £25 law: each, &
£20 for Kirtland; the School maſters are to Set off next monday
ence of your letter againſt mr Occ.m, & ye great prejudice to his
Character & Strong prejudices imbibed againſt him, & I apprehend
againſt our Board of Comſſrs on yt acc.t — And if yr be nothing
more to juſtify wt you have done than wt we have heard, I earneſtly
adviſe you as a B.r to Settle yt matter according to your agreem.t
wth ye Board as Soon as may be — Their honour, & ye whole Indian cauſe
lies at Stake — And I apprehend muſt be vindicated Some way or
other, as well as mr Occ.ms — If you Suſpect I am not friendly in
this matter, I am perſwaded ye conſequence will fully convince you of the
contrary, & very brotherly too. I don't See but mr Occom is really
diſpoſed to peace & friendſhip, & to be a great friend to you, if he
knew how to be So in a channel to be understood. There is a meeting
