Rev. Dr.
I now Inform you, that the circumstance of my Bretheren calls me into England, through kind Indulgent Providence, I'm like to go much sooner than I expected. Capt. William Chase has offered me a passage to England, in his Ship, which kind offer I shall thank‐fully embrace. — I'm truly Sorry to leave my Study so soon, but can't help it. — For your kindness to me, my Wife and Child, also the Degree of Learning I got in your School, would now address my‐self to You in the deepest sense of Gratitude, and Thanks.  As you have been a great Friend to me, You need not fear, but that I shall Speak in favour of Your School.
As, (I hope,) You have a near intercourse with Heaven, I ask an Interest in your Prayers, that God, the disposer of all Hearts would raise me up true Friends, to lay our Misery be‐fore his most Sacred Majesty, and his most Honourable Privy Council, and that I may be favoured with the Gracious influence of his Holy Spirit. — We Shall Sail the first fair Wind.
In grateful remembrance of friendship, and Civility, with cordial Love to all my acquaintance, I am, Rev. Sir.
(with great respect) your Humble Servant. Tobias Shattock
P.S. As to the Boys You wrote for, I left the affair with Mr. Deake, and the Council of Indians. — Tobias Shattock
