As I was returning I found Mr. Jewett at Mr. Lords, gave him your Letter — he Said the wringing of the nose would bring forth blood — I desire him to complain of Mr. Occom if he had con­ducted bad Since agreement — and after Some talk I prevailed with him to consent to attend our meeting which he greatly declined at first — I think it is not best for Mr. Occom to article in form against Mr. Jewett — let us Settle it amicably if possible — Pray have your accounts of the School all fair that the Board may inspect you, and draw up the form of a testimonial for them which the board may vote — you will find it necessary they should be approved by the Board if you or any other goes to England — In great haste I am yours as ever
I have wrote to Mr. Huntington who is at wind­ham at Court — if you should Send him a line too it might have influence on him to leave his business for 1/2 day at least in order to attend the Board NW
