Rev. and Dear sir
Mr. Hyslop has showed us a Letter from SamsonOccom an Indian Minister, setting forth his great poverty and distress by reason thereof; Attending one from you, wherein you recommend the said Indian to the Charitably disposed. We now send you the enclosed Eight pounds lawful Money, with a view to relieve the distress of the said Indian Minister, and desire you would apply it accordingly. We apprehend you will be relieved (with respect to what you are in arrears for the Education of Indian Children) in some more public way or we should have had your relief as much in view as that of the said Indian Minister  We conclude with wishing you the Divinepresence, in your public ministry, and private instructions and asking your Prayers for our little private Society, that we may all know Jesus Christ, and be built up in him in the behalf and at the desire of the Society.
