I was guilty of being at Mr Clarks at a sort of Chorus, the Devil is always tempting me to some mischeif, & It seems to me that I am as ready to comply as he is to tempt, it seems to me as if I was willing to go to hell sooner or later, I beleive it is best for me to be turnd out of the School, for I shall never be good for anything, let me go home & Labour for my Living & not to stay & live upon Christ here to no purpoſe but to serve the Devil I should be glad to be a helper in the Cauſe, but I am so hardened in Sin, I dont think that ever I shall be any better, but o^n^ly to be an disgrace to the School & the Dor & to the kind benefactors of it &c
