As I was returning I found mr Jewet at mr Lords, gave him your Letter — he Said the wringing of the noſe would bring forth blood — I deſored deſire him to complain of mr Occom if he had con­ducted bad Since agreem.t — & after Some talk I prevailed with him to conſent to attend our meeting which he greatly declined at firſt — I think it is not beſt for mr Occom to article in form againſt mr Jewet — let us Settle it amicably if poſſible — Pray have your Accts of ye School all fair that the Board may inſpect you, & draw up ye form of a teſti monial for ym wch ye board may vote — you will find it neceſſary they Sho'd be approved by ye Board if you or any other goes to Eng.d — In great haſe I am yours as ever
I have wrote to mr Huntington who is at wind­ham at Court — if you Shod Send him a line too it mit have influence on him to leave his buſineſs for 1/2 day at leaſt in order to attend ye Board NW
